Welcome To My *JULY* Offering.

                                                  AMERICANA *THOMAS FARLEY*

For your consideration tonight I have listed Thomas Farley.  He is 27  inches in height and nicely weighted for different sitting positions.  Thomas is celebrating the 4th of July on a sunny afternoon in the late 1800's.  Thomas is made from hand dyed Osnaburg fabric.  The face and ears are needle sculpted and hand painted, the hair is auburn wool roving that is needle felted to his head.  This folk art doll is wearing a white muslin long sleeve shirt with a bias neckline and vintage pearl buttons going down the front, his trousers are woven cotton that have been hand dyed indigo blue, they have been tapered to fit at the waist and the cuffs of the trousers are hand stitched. Thomas is also wearing faux suede boots that are hand painted and I have hand stitched around the sole's (as you can see in the photos.)  The stockings he is wearing are vintage and are hand stitched above his boots.  Thomas is wearing his Americana parade top hat that I have made out of gray wool/felt with a red and tan osnaburg panel that was hand stitched.

Thomas will make a precious addition to your Primitive, Folk-Art or Early American setting.  He will come to you signed and dated.

This Primitive doll is made to become a heirloom and passed down for years to come and is not intended for children under twelve yrs. old.

If you have any questions please email me, I love hearing from you.  As always, thank you for stopping by.
